Moe Gray

Coach Moe is the founder of Basics 1st Basketball. He has been invested in the community for over 20 years. Coach Moe is also the co-founder of a non-profit organization (Brighter Days) that has been created to provide social, financial, and educational support to at risk youth, nationally.

He has mentored, coached and trained athletes from elementary to professional for over 20 years. Coach Moe is a NCAA certified coach and has coached AAU successfully for over 15 years, as well as run camps for NBA players. His greatest conviction is to provide quality youth services to the community and serve as an example of leadership, integrity, and character for our future generation.

Anthony Gray

Coach AJ Gray is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Medical Assistant, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.

A former collegiate basketball player at Virginia Wesleyan University, AJ’s training philosophy was shaped through his own experience with injuries and rehabilitation. Those challenges led him to prioritize proper body care, injury prevention, and performance longevity.

Through Train Grayt, AJ delivers personalized training focused on strength, weight loss, speed, agility, and explosive performance—while consistently incorporating injury prevention and unilateral work to create balance and reduce risk.

His mission is to educate and train individuals to take care of their bodies early, maximize their athletic potential, and build a healthier lifestyle.

Lisa Gray

Lisa Gray is a nurse with 32+ years of experience and has served as an administrator at B5 Sports Center since its opening. She is also certified in cryotherapy recovery and is passionate about helping others prioritize their health and longevity.

After living with autoimmune disease for over 30 years, Lisa transformed her life through holistic care, clean nutrition, consistent exercise, and quality sleep—leading to 4 years in remission without medication.

Now, she is dedicated to educating and supporting others on how to take care of their bodies, feel younger, and live healthier, longer lives.
